Bensham Grove Walkers are a small group for men and women who enjoy country and coastal walks.

We meet once a month at Bensham Grove Community Centre when we plan our walks. we visit the Northumbrian and Durham countryside where we do short walks which take in the beautiful coastline, and inland visiting places such as Hadrian's Wall, Kielder and Weardale.

We take our time to enjoy the beautiful countryside whilst taking part in a healthy activity.

Bensham Grove Community Learning Centre houses an excellent, purpose built pottery studio. This well equipped facility ensures that a wide variety of making and decoration techniques are possible, under the expert tuition of ceramicists Christine Constant, Jane Hufton and George Ormeroid. With a superb range of both earthen-ware and stoneware glazes, electric wheels and specialists courses available.
