The Urban Physic (U.P.) Garden, established in 2024, reimagines the tradition of medicinal gardens for modern city life. At Bensham Grove Community Centre, the U.P. Garden offers a calm, restorative space where visitors can step away from digital noise, slow down, and reconnect with the natural world.

Designed to nurture wellbeing and belonging, the garden encourages gentle, mindful activities — from gardening and making to writing and quiet reflection. It’s a place where healing, creativity, and community come together in the heart of our diverse urban environment.
